Lebanon's Complicity

There was and still is a lot of crying for "poor" Lebanon in this terrible war, as if Lebanon is an innocent bystander. It infuriates me that hardly anything is said about the complicity of Lebanon in building up Hizballah, certainly through the past six years subsequent to Israel's withdrawal from Lebanon, but probably even during the years of Israel's holding of a defemsive corridor in the south of the country.

How does anyone think Hizballah was able to amass thirteen thousand missiles without knowledge and even permission from Lebanon and assistance from Lebanese people. I have no patience with those who seemingly identify pretty well all Lebanese as "civilians". Who are these "civilians" who have lived side by side with the Hizballah fighters for all these years? Are we supposed to believe they were in no way party to the military build up and military training in their midst? I don't. Hizballah built a two kilometre tunnel under the houses of these so-called civilians that crossed the border into Israel. This tunnel is equipped with air, food, ammunition, living quarters of sort, etc. Wouldn't you know if someone was into that kind of construction in your own village and immediate residential area? Of course you would! And the likelihood is that these "civilians" were participants and perhaps beneficiaries of this Hizballah project.

Anyone with any sense of reality would not accept the propoganda about the Lebanese innocents. On that day when the media and the UN and the Muslim world got hysterical about the deaths in Qana, much of which turned out to be a hoax (not the 57 fabriction of deaths but 28), no one seems to care or want to notice that 150 Hizbollah rockets were shot onto Israel from that site, causing 40 people serious and severe injuries. That there are about one million Israeli refugees forced to move from their homes in the north to the interior of Israel, is ignored. We only hear about Lebanese refugees. And you should notice that not one Canadian, British, American, or other foreign citizens have demanded that their countries rescue them and pay for passage from the war zone in Israel. Only the dual citizens, many of which are paper citizens, from Lebanon have been evacuated at great expense to national taxpayers.

I predicted that this war like other wars before between Israel and its Arab enemies will be stopped before Israel can win the war by those so-called human rights activists. That is because Jews have never and will never be allowed to win a war. But that subject is for my next article.
